🧥 Sende is located on the mountain in Galicia. It means that nights are a bit colder. Please bring your swimming suit but also warm clothes (including a raincoat).
🚿 You may only bring pool towel. No need to bring linens or towels for the house use.
💵 Please bring cash with you. Nearest ATM is 15 min by car (we go there every week to do groceries shopping). If you go to local bars, everything is in cash and since this years some of them are introducing payments by card.
👨🍳 Eating together is a most important thing in Sende. Kitchen is like a tool where we bond together. To eat well, we need to cook. We have organized system where you apply to make one dinner per week (with other persons) for everyone.
Please try to cook at once twice a week (when we are group of 8 to 12 persons). If you don’t know how to cook, you can always help. Oh, you may also bring your favorite spice.

👩🌾 In Sende we organize Hat talks. It's like a TED talk with a hat. Anyone can choose useful topic and share it with others (it's optional of course). Usually it starts at 19.00. Requirements to do the talk:
1. Put a hat
2. Choose a topic and inform all the group
3. Duration: 30 minutes (max with Q&A).
⚡In the white house, if the electricity is down, just enter the small kitchen on the ground floor and behind the black door, you will find the breaker switch.
If this happens in the other coworking space or in the kitchen (down in the village) electricity breaker box is on the entrance of the coworking space.
📱We use the WhatsApp group to get organized around. As we are sleeping and working in different houses, this group helps us to organize dinners and activities.
e.g. “Launch is ready in 8 minutes” and people will show up for the lunch. Please don’t use the group for memes and distraction.

🥝 We compost the food in a mini-bin in the kitchen and we will use leftovers to feed chickens.
💡 Please turn off the lights when you are not in your room or toilet or in the coworking space.
🐣 If you are coming in a team, use floaties to organize a meeting in the pool. Some of the best ideas of Sende were born there. No phones, no distraction, just your team floating.

Please add your phone number as delivery drivers call first. Then we can go out to wait them at the main street. The best spot to wait them is in the front of the last house, above the church, number 56).
They will often ask you to leave the package in Alero or at Leo's bar in Lobeira (6km from Sende) because they are in hurry. If that package is not so urgent, you can pick it later in Alero bar.
